Shinichi Maruyama is amazing. These photos called “Kusho”. This series has 23 very large color photographs with black ink and water. The crazy thing is, when you drop ink into water it turns grey very quickly. Shinichi captures this just before that happens.

Shinichi Maruyama was born in Nagano, Japan. He majored in Film/Photography at Chiba University and began his first personal project “Into the Spiti Valley” which was a documentary about Tibeten culture in India.
